Hello, friends! I trust you have enjoyed this Lord's day that is also celebratory for mothers - both present and future!
It would appear that I have caught my baby's head cold - and I thought hers was simply a result of the molars she's trying to push through!
No matter. I had a beautiful Mama's day anyway; greeted by a card that was written on delightfully by my two son's - "love from your kid, Micah." and "Dear Mother," by Corban. *smile* A rare copy of Louisa May Alcott's "Scarlet Stockings" and Fernando Ortega's cd, "Storm", also awaited me, from the sweet man who made me a mama.
And so I spent the morning lying on the couch, Eliana snuggling next to me, watching "Anne of Avonlea"; trusting wholeheartedly that my boys were sitting quietly through Daddy's sermon next door. This mama's life, even at her sickest, couldn't be more blessed.
Unfortunately, I am not prepared for Children's Book Monday yet again, and so I must ask you to wait one more week - barring head cold's, birthdays, or other familial circumstances. And I am also waiting for the book I'm going to review to arrive in the mail; it will be worth it, I promise! Feel free to browse through past reviews to enhance your visit to the library this week.
I'm having so much fun uploading our movies of the children that I thought I would share another with you! Here are my little ones dancing to the soundtrack from "Fiddler on the Roof", one of their favorite movies. As you will see, Micah loves playing to the camera, and Corban has got those Hasidic moves down! Eliana simply enjoys being the center - of everything. Enjoy!

Oh my goodness, how cute! I love to see children dance. My David does a mean Riverdance.
This makes me want to see Fiddler on the Roof again - with my kids. They have not seen it yet!
And it was fun to hear your laugh. :)
Oh and, hope you're feeling better quickly! I'm happy you had a blest Mother's Day despite the cold!
Great dancers you have there! I can't tell you how funny that last video of your brothers was! Hilarious! Get better! Talk to you later in the week.
That was great-- I really enjoyed watching it! Those three are quite the dancers. I love Eliana in her little apron :-) It was fun to hear your laugh, too!
So sorry you're under the weather! I'm glad you had a cozy and blessed Mother's Day, though! I hope you're feeling better very soon.
Missed you last week!

Hope your mother's day was blessed. :)
Very cute video.
Hi there,
You little ones are adorable! Eliana is a sweet bug, for sure!
My hope is that you are on the mend soon! Try to get some rest---in the midst of corralling the kids!
Hilarious video! I hope you're feeling better. It just feels so not allowed that mothers get sick, doesn't it?! I need to get outside and plant my tomatos, it's sacred afternoon naptime, but have a great week!
Sarah
Elise, please take care of yourself! Don't worry about us ... we will TRY to make it without children's book Monday. Just kidding ... we just want you to get better!!
I watched the clip several times, and enjoyed several laughs. I especially liked Eliana in the center, bobbing to the music in perfect time!

It sounds like you and Eliana had a perfectly lovely morning - You're both all better now, aren't you?
Oh, how cute! I snuck ahead and watched the video before reading the post and I thought that they were doing a scene from Peter Pan with Tiger Lily in the middle of a bunch of Indians! *chuckle* Hope you are feeling better. God bless you and yours. -Firefly
