Eliana has discovered the joys of the telephone! Her little plastic pretend telephone, that is. A couple of weeks ago, when she and I visited Boise for my mama's birthday, she took to carrying around her phone and talking to "Da-ee? Da-ee?" (That's Daddy to the layperson.)
I tried to get her to say "I love you!", which is really just a kiss blown into the phone, but she would have none of it. To say "I love you!", apparently, means to say goodbye, and she was simply just not ready. There was ever so much more to tell Da-ee.
I find it particularly amusing how she wanders in circles as she holds conversation on the telephone. Where on earth did she pick that up? *smile*
(The giggles you hear in the background come from my twelve-year-old sister, Maddie, who is always delighted in everything Eliana!)
