...is the tooth I lost at the McDonald's playland today. No, I mean I really lost it - first it fell out, then I forgot and left it there!
I was sorry that I didn't bring it home to give to Mama, because I thought she might like to save it, but she says it's okay, she'll forgive me. But now that I think about it, I have a sneaking suspicion that she doesn't care to have it, even though she tells me she loves my new "endearing lisp".
She hasn't taken half of the pictures of me that she took of Cor when he was my age, and my baby calendar is only filled in up to nine months. And as for my first haircut, she says, "You didn't have much hair until you were two, so there wasn't a whole lot to save!"
But I know she just swiped some hair from Cor's book and stuffed it into mine.
You feel really, really sorry for me, don't you?
Love,
Micah

Oh, what a handsome young man you have there!

Hi Micah--
Congrats on the tooth. I wonder if some toddler will find it on the McDonald's floor, hold it up proudly like it's his, and scare his poor mama?
I had to do my own baby book when I was 11, so don't feel bad :) We've got the LOVE, and that's what matters most.
ha ha micah! Don't feel too bad about 9 months...my mom only finished one page in mine. :D It's okay though.
You must sing the "two front teeth" song for your mama and make her laugh. Especially cause it's Christmas!
Hmm . . . consider the resourcefulness of only using a page of your baby book. I'm hoping to re-use mine if and when I have my own child! After all, it's 99% blank! It's a keep sake, sentimental value and all . . .
Mama knows every tooth in your mouth!! What a great memory to share when you are older :-)
What a handsome guy! Who knew that missing teeth would make for such a fine looking smile!
Hey big guy! Such a *smile*!
Why feel sorry for you?
You have your mama's dancing eyes, your daddy's charming smile... and endearing lisp? No, my friend... you have an endearing *heart*--and I have an inkling where you get that from too!
(But yes, I *am* sorry about the hair...and the baby book...and endless teeth pictures of older brother. Would you like to come on over? We have more than a few younguns here that can commiserate with you... us Mamas will hug you poor but *loved* ones up... and then we could all go romp in the white and roll big, *toothless,* snowmen!
Deal?
I'll put the hot chocolate on right now! And the camera is sitting here *ready*)
Much love, Dapper Mr. Micah...

Ha! Ha! Rebeccah's lost (yes, lost never to be seen again) two of her teeth!! Cute.
Karly
LOL! If I feel sorry for you Micah I would have to feel sorry for my youngest also.
Ha!! That's great! I don't even have a baby book for Zach yet, just a piece of paper hanging on the fridge that I've added each milestone to. He got tooth number 3 a couple of days ago! Love to you and your family. I love the Christmas letter you sent! Mine are still boxed and unaddresses...
;)
Our middle child, Abbey, lost and swallowed her first tooth at Taco Bell. As for the baby book and hair ect - it is a trade mark for middle children. :)
You look wonderful with you "new" smile.
Blessings,
~Jane
Dear Micah,
What a handsome young man you are! And you are so loved, and *so* blessed to have such a sweet and loving Mama. Unfortunately, I can't commiserate with you on the half-finished baby book, etc..., being a first-born myself. But I know your Mama and Dad love you so very much.
We hope and pray that you and your dear family have a very merry Christmas.
Hugs,
Beka
p.s. Elise-- That picture? The one of your three darlings? It melted my heart, right into a big ooey puddle on the floor! Give them all a big hug for me today.
Love you!
Ok, I have some serious questions for you: How many normal people do you know who keep old rotten teeth hidden in their homes? (Nevermind that my grandma returned my first lost tooth to me when my daughter lost hers - ewww). Micah, your mom's got it right: keeping the dead parts of you around isn't what really matters. It's enjoying you while you're right here with that cute smile!
You have beautiful children, Elise! He is such a doll!
Poor Micah! This sounds just like my last three children, who complain all the time that they don't have enough pictures/baby book entries/first haircut clippings. I keep telling them that my oldest was an only child for seven years...by the time the rest of them finally came along, I was tired. LOL
He's such a handsome boy!
LOVED the "H" Christmas letter and photos! It made my day ...:)

It is so fun experiencing these times with our young children. I feel we on similar paths--my oldest is losing teeth and my youngest is the fun age of 2. Love your threesome photo, I wouldn't want to step away from reading with them either.
:) Mindy
Precious! My daughter is missing both front teeth. I love the way she talks, too!
