Just a quick note to let you know that I'll be here on Saturday, with some thoughts on Advent.
And for a very non-Adventish laugh, I must share something that happened last year. The Burl Ives song, "Holly, Jolly Christmas" was playing, on that old Rudolph claymation show. When Burl sang, "Ho, Ho, the misletoe, hung where you can see!" Micah looked distressed. And when I asked him what was the matter, he answered,
"Why would they hang the missing toe where everyone can see?"
