Busy in the Garden

Did you plant a garden this year? Are you getting ready to? Do you wish you had the time and energy to plant one? This is a fun book of garden poetry for you to enjoy with your children, whether you've shared the experience of working together in the dirt or not! I checked this book out a few weeks ago in anticipation of our garden, and we've been enjoying the funny poems and getting excited about our seeds ever since!
There are riddles: Mama planted summer hats, Papa planted thread, Sister planted ink stamps, Brother planted bread. Can you guess what they all grew?
There are garden tips: Two seeds and two seeds, that makes four. But plant them in the ground, and you'll get more! We found this poem especially relevant when certain little boys would rather have played with the corn seeds than planted them...
And there are lots of giggles! Our favorite?
