*Sigh*

You know you're the mama of a toilet-training toddler when you tell the adults in your life that you "need to use the potty" before you leave...

They smother their smiles and you smother a sheepish one of your own.

And then you head off to use that potty anyway, 'cause it's the eighth month and some things just. won't. wait.

(This sits in the bathroom to bring smiles while we wait... and wait...)

How very, very cute. It's been a while since I've "trained" anyone, but we still politely excuse ourselves to use the potty around here. ; )

Your site is so sweet.

Elise, I can't believe you're already in your eighth month - time has flown by (for me...I'm sure you've felt every day of waiting!). Can't wait to hear your sweet boy's name and all the details.

I loved your potty slip-up. That's common around here, too. Usually I tell Ryan about once a day I need to use the potty! Whoops.

Or you are in your 50's and you truly cannot wait. Bless you in this time. It never ends!

Had to chuckle at this. Just tonight my dh asked if I could take the 4 month old so he could go paw.... um... to the bathroom. We both cracked up. Our two year old son is a potty training trooper. He has *us* trained ;D

*Sigh* I have been saying that for years (my oldest is 16...youngest is four). No one even bats an eye at me anymore.

Oh what a giggle this gave me...and how I related to the little sculpture. Considering not but a few short months back, I had three potty training, and now I only have one. I remember a particular day back in February that I thought, "I'll never get out of this bathroom!"

I can't believe how close you're getting to meeting your little guy! It just makes me smile when I think of you holding your little blessing in two months. Ahhh...
Love, Sarah

I know you don't know me but someone on my facebook recommended your blog spot. I actually found being pregnant to be conducive to potty training...if I had to go my little girl surely did, too.
