This mama doesn’t get out of the house very often (which is fine with me!), and so the lessons the Father teaches me are most often found in my everyday life, my children and their spiritual development. I’m so grateful that He meets me where I am!

Good one Elise! Another good analogy is the example of my 2.5 year old oldest daughter. She is becoming so independent, often wants to try to do something herself, even though I know eventually she will ask for my help. I wonder if the Lord watches us with the same smirk and patience as we try to do something far too difficult, as He whispers, "I can help you, you need me", while we push him away with our hand saying, "I got it Lord, I'll do it myself." Thanks for this reminder this morning.
